Ravinder Kumar, Head Chef

My passion is in producing the finest food from the freshest and most ethically sourced produce. I began my career in my home country completing my formal catering training before moving to Italy with a view to developing my skills and broadening my knowledge of European cuisine. To further this knowledge I moved within the company to Germany and then back to Italy, before moving to the UK in 2003 as chef de parties at the Village Hotel Coventry. During this time I progressed to sous chef and managed the food operation, whilst increasing my eclectic food knowledge from Asian to pan-European helping me to develop a fusion of flavours and styles to create a unique blend of global cuisine. Since taking up the post as Head chef at Hearsall Golf club we have faced some of the most challenging of times, making it difficult to introduce all of the exiting new dishes I have planned for you. I intend to put all of my experiences gained in my career to date to develop and deliver the best food with the finest flavours for your enjoyment and delight.
