BIOGRAPHY

Born in Birmingham on October 2nd, I bring over 35 years of diverse experience in the global golf industry. My journey has taken me from competing on the PGA European Tour to living and working in stunning locations such as Loch Lomond in Scotland, Montego Bay in Jamaica, and the Algarve in Portugal. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of coaching Ryder Cup players and managing luxury hospitality for over 15 years. I’ve been fortunate to contribute to significant redesigns of golf courses and facilities, as well as various construction projects. As a consultant editor for a national golf magazine, I have demonstrated proven coaching expertise at the highest level, specializing in putting, short game, and creative shot-making. My passions extend beyond golf; I also enjoy football, motorsports, fitness, fine dining, and the finer things in life. Golf truly is my greatest love!

Born in Dudley, April 29th Started golf at the age of 5, after seeing my father’s golf clubs. 16 years on… and now working as a PGA Golf Professional, I wouldn’t change it for the world, arguing there is no one with a bigger passion for golf than me. Scouting is a big part of my life having grown up in the organisation. I am also a Scout Group Leader and owe so much to it having learnt many valuable life skills. At heart, an all-round appreciation of sports with badminton as a second choice to golf. Love of the great outdoors with a wanderlust for being in the hills with nature at every opportunity.

Born in Birmingham November 19 Started golf at Kings Norton GC where improving to a 4-handicap, I represented Worcestershire in County team matches at Junior, Colt and 2nd Team level. I also enjoyed representing the club in Midland Scratch League matches. My career had me starting out as a qualified electrician before progressing to work in electro-mechanical engineering (Metro Cammel) where I utilised specialised skills for work on the Eurostar Channel Tunnel train. Love of golf, speedway, comedy clubs (good jokes and bad jokes) I believe laughing is good for the body and mind, it’s kind of like jogging on the inside. My favourite love is my ‘honey-bee’ (my partner Gaynor for 23 years).
