GOLFING ENDURANCE CHALLENGE

We are excited to announce that Hearsall Golf Club has signed up to a golfing endurance challenge to promote various Captains' charities across 9 different Midlands golf clubs. This is being lead by Ramesh Parmar, a prominent local fundraiser, known as The Crazy Golfer for his epic golfing endurance achievements!

This year he has set a target to raise £100k for 18 cancer charities. As you know, my chosen charity is Macmillan Cancer Support. You can see from the posters below there are 2 different golfing challenges. We have chosen CHALLENGE ONE which will be 18 holes of golf at Hearsall followed by an 18 mile walk. The format will be pairs, alternate shots. We are looking for around 26-28 golfers to compete and get as much sponsorship as possible for my chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. Any non golfers are welcome just to do the 18 mile walk.

As this is part of a group golfing challenge, all monies raised will be centrally collected into one group pot by Ramesh's team so we can see how the overall £100k target is progressing .Once all the challenges have been completed, the monies raised will be distributed back to the various charities.

Any sponsor who raises over £1,000 receives an automatic invite to the presentation evening at Asha's, an award winning Indian restaurant on Sunday June 28th.

In the first instance please can you please contact Vicky to register your interest.  A Just Giving Page has already been set up.  There is also an option to pay directly into a separate account if donors do not want to pay via Just Giving. These details will be sent to you individually once you have registered your interest. You must include Hearsall as a reference for any donations to ensure the monies raised are allocated back to us.

I have every confidence that our great golf club will do us proud.

Steve
