The Hearsall Cup Final brought the curtain down on the very first Board’s Order of Merit – and what a finish it was!
Huge congratulations to Macer Bridges, who held his nerve to claim victory in the Hearsall Cup Final. The win rockets him up the standings to 6th place, agonisingly just outside the prizes – but what a way to sign off the season!
Credit too to our runner-up, Keith Finch, who despite defeat in the final, had already done more than enough to secure his place in history as the first ever winner of the Board’s Order of Merit. Keith’s consistent golf across the season sees him finish top of the pile with a commanding 420 points.

Midweek Order of Merit – It’s Still All To Play For!
The Midweek Order of Merit is going right down to the wire, with just one event left – the rearranged Midweek Medal on 30th September. And trust us, this one is set up for a grandstand finish.
With 37 players within 150 points of the leader, every swing could make the difference.
The latest standings after the penultimate competition (21st August) saw none of the top 20 break into the top 15 – proving just how unpredictable this contest is. That means the top of the table remains unchanged… for now.

2nd – Nick Hunnisett (250 points)
3rd – John Salmon (240 points)
4th – Matt Bevan (230 points) – now joined by Chris Palmer!
Big movers include Pete Johnson, storming up to 6th on 190 points, and Mark Curtis, hot on his heels in 7th with 180 points.
