Ground conditions - Local rule

New temporary local rules:
“Cracks in the ground in the general area are ground under repair. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b.”

If there are any tree roots in the fairway:
“If a player’s ball lies in the general area and there is interference from exposed tree roots that are in an area cut to fairway height or less, the tree roots are treated as ground under repair. The player may take free relief under Rule 16.1b.”

This will apply until further notice
