Summary of Management Committee meeting 20th December 2016
M/C’s proposal that Tee Off Times be limited to Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 11am and 3pm was approved by the board. To be reviewed in March.
Repair of the clock on the 10th tee is being chased by the office.
Finance: There will be a members’ meeting in February to discuss 2017 fees and other issues. The 2017/18 budget is being worked on.
Course: Irrigation system going as planned. Hope to complete end February/beginning of March, but dependent on weather. Branches lower that 10’ being removed. Winter programme being worked through systematically. New bell purchased for 16th.
House: Good feedback on fine dining evening. December was busy. Luke to review December Sunday lunches. The sub-committee has met and is working on an action plan. Thanks to Philomena, Clair and Tom for sorting presents for the family Christmas lunch. TS is organising the Sportsman’s evening (John Hartson plus comedian).
Ladies section: Over £1,100 has been raised for the Charity over the last few weeks.
Hobos: M/C to receive monthly report from the Hobos.
Juniors: Junior organiser/helpers are still being sought.
Membership/marketing: Enquiries continue re membership. AE has circulated a draft membership survey and is seeking feedback. An exit interview survey is planned.
Next M/C Tuesday 24th January.
